Welcome to The National Lottery Awards 2011

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects.  Lottery players raise around £30 million each week for Good Causes.  These range from large scale, multi-million pound investments to small community grants.  Thousands of great projects get the cash they need to make a real difference to people and their local communities across the UK.

The National Lottery Awards 2011 are brought to you in association with the Telegraph.

Public voting closed on Monday 26 September.  Click on the projects shown on the map below to find out more.  For a list of projects competing in each category, click on the links to the left of the map.

The winners in each of the seven categories will be revealed in a star-studded Awards event to be broadcast on BBC One at 9:30pm on Saturday 5th November 2011. The project in each category with the most votes will be the winner.
