Terms and Conditions
You will be able to cast a vote for The National Lottery Awards, by voting either online at the website www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards or voting from a landline or mobile telephone (‘the vote’). By participating in the vote you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. General terms
1.1 You can cast votes online, or from a landline number or a mobile phone number, during the voting phases of The National Lottery Awards, either for one project or multiple projects. However, The National Lottery Promotions Unit (NLPU) reserve the right to challenge and/or remove votes at any time.
1.2 NLPU reserves the right in its sole discretion to discount any votes received where in NLPU’s reasonable perception it seems likely that the vote has been manipulated or tampered with, or for any other reason that NLPU in its absolute discretion deems necessary, and it will take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the vote.
1.3 NLPU reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice in its absolute discretion. Any changes will be posted on the website (www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk) and such posting shall be adequate notice to all users.
1.4 NLPU is not responsible for network, telephone line or communication failures of any kind or for votes that are incomplete or incomprehensible or not received. Such entries will be void.
1.5 In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the voting, the operation of the technical system or any other matter arising out of the vote the decision of NLPU shall be final.
1.6 Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of NLPU) will NLPU be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access the vote.
1.7 The result of the vote will be from all votes received (both online and telephone) at the time when the result is calculated, after the time for voting has ended. Telephone votes which have not been received at the time when the result is calculated will not be counted but will still be charged.
1.8 The eligibility of any vote is at the sole discretion of NLPU.
