Ynglŷn â'r prosiect

FLOW was an innovative outdoor visual and digital arts programme that engaged new audiences for contemporary art, and was delivered on a scale never before seen in the county.

The project included spectacular laser light installations 'HERO' at Broughton House (used as a set in the Hollywood hit musical Les Miserables and the Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch), and '180 degrees of Light' which saw the creation a gigantic laser triangle hovering over five square miles of the county's landscape..

The artists used water inspired locations to present their work – be that a river, a canal, water tower or reservoir. These new artworks appeared in places and communities where nothing quite like it had ever happened before.

Project creator, Graham Callister, explains: “FLOW brought together some amazing British artists and local arts organisations. It has involved volunteers, developed relationships with businesses, engaged with local communities and schools to raise the profile of Northamptonshire and help make the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad a genuine success.”

FLOW was a semi-finalist at the 2012 National Lottery Awards
