National Lottery funded Teens and Toddlers has helped over 9,500 disadvantaged children and young people across 34 Local Authorities nationwide. The project aims to improve the confidence, skills and opportunities for disadvantaged young people in the London boroughs of Greenwich, Hackney, Lewisham and Tower Hamlets.
The Big Lottery Fund was set up to distribute National Lottery money to projects working in local health, education, environment and charitable purposes. Funding is delivered mostly through programmes tailored specifically to the needs of communities in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland as well as some programmes that cover the whole of the UK.
