Hello friends, we’re back with another blog of great ideas from the National Lottery family that you can get up to for the next seven days. This week we are busy in the kitchen, taking a spin in some British classic cars, and much more… check it out below!

Cook up a storm with SportScotland!

Our friends at SportScotland have been sharing some healthy recipes which have had the Good Causes team’s mouth-watering all week. The recipes listed below are easy to follow and very tasty. Don’t forget to share your dishes with them by following and tagging @SportScotland and using the hashtag #HealthyAtHome! They release a new recipe every week!

Is your family missing British motorsport? Well check this out:

Whilst The British Motor Museum may be closed it wanted to ensure that its enthusiastic family visitors were not too disappointed or missing out during lockdown, so they have come up with lots of fantastic stay at home activities for all the family to enjoy. There are quizzes, puzzles, cooking, crafts and stacks of awesome 'stay at home science' from the legendary Professor Pumpkin and Dr Pickle. They can all be found at: https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/whats-on/tag/family

Watch some Northern Ballet shows:

For an Instant, choreographed by Amaury Lebrun, was premièred in September 2019 as part of their mixed programme Three Short Ballets.

Now you can watch the full performance, filmed during the dress rehearsal at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre in Leeds, as part of their Pay As You Feel Digital Season.

The film will be available to watch for free until Sunday 7 June. You can watch the film here: https://northernballet.com/for-an-instant

Don't worry, none of us are looking at our best either

Giving a friend a call:

We’ve dedicated our 5th spot this week to checking in with loved ones as a part of mental health week. We know it’s tougher due to the circumstances but whether it’s a group chat on Zoom or a quick whatsapp, keeping in touch with friends and family is important for everyone’s mental health.

If you have any concerns about your own or someone else’s mental health, Mind & the Samaritans are just two of the many National Lottery funded projects that can help out.
