Caitlin Walker has autism, OCD and severe anxiety, and is a young carer for her dad. Due to being homeschooled, she discovered that after her GCSE exams were cancelled, she was unable to gain any qualifications because external candidates were not allowed to use predicted grades.
So she used her free time to volunteer and then work for Youth Resilience UK, an organisation that provides school children with skills to improve their resilience, build relationship and make better choices. Her work has inspired her to go to college to study business management.
Caitlin has also been supporting her local community by running errands for those shielding, and sourcing donations for the ICU staff at her local hospital.
