Apps are the future it’s become normal for most of us go through everyday life with a few of them in our pocket. They are on our phones, tablets and even our watches…
For some of our projects, they have used funding that National Lottery players have raised to tap into this new technology. In this blog, we list 5 National Lottery funded apps that you can download to your devices today.
The Breast Cancer Care app supports people moving forwards after breast cancer. Breast Cancer Care created the app after listening to the experiences of people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The app aims to provide day to day support, provide trustworthy information and help adjust to life after breast cancer.
The app was voted as the UK’s favourite National lottery health project in the 2018 National Lottery Awards.
Whale track was another finalist in the National Lottery Awards 2018. The Whale Track app aims to help us track and record the movements of marine mammals on the Scottish coastline. Whale Track and the team behind the app then use that data so that we can learn more about the amazing animals.
The app was created by the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.
