Win | A VIP trip to the National Lottery Awards

Two pairs of Telegraph readers will win a VIP trip to the National Lottery Awards Show on Friday 09 September, which will be broadcast on BBC1 on September 12.

Competition winners will enjoy travel to London (up to £150 per person), a one-night stay in a twin room at a four-star hotel in London, plus lunch, breakfast and dinner, and a taxi to and from the Awards Show.

To enter, simply answer this question: How much do National Lottery players raise every week for Good Causes?

You must be over the age of 18 and based in the UK. The deadline for entries is 12pm 2nd September.

Terms and conditions

1. Competition criteria and prize

1.1 The promoter of this competition is the National Lottery Promotions Unit ("NLPU").

1.2 To enter into The National Lottery and Telegraph Readers Competition you must be based in the UK

1.3 The winner will be drawn at random on 02 September and the winner notified by email or phone.

1.4 Two pairs of Telegraph readers will win a VIP trip to the National Lottery Awards Show on Friday 9 September, which will be broadcast on BBC1 on 12 September. The competition winners will enjoy a one night stay at a four star hotel in London. Accommodation is offered on a twin room basis on 09 September 2012 (all winners must be over the age of 18.) The prize includes breakfast, lunch (to the value of £40 for two excluding alcoholic drinks, payable by the winners then refunded) and a dinner (to the value of £60 for two excluding alcoholic drinks, payable by the winners then refunded), travel to London (up to a maximum of £150 per person booked in agreement with the winners), return travel by taxi from the hotel to the Awards show. Any additional expenses are not included.

2. Entry and competition process

2.1 To enter The National Lottery and Telegraph Readers Competition entrants must:

2.1.1 Answer the question: How much do National Lottery players raise every week for Good Causes? by either emailing their full name, address and day time telephone number to info@lotterygoodcauses.org.uk or by post to The National Lottery Promotions Unit (The NLPU), 1 Plough Place, London, EC4A 1DE.

2.2 All entries must be received on or before noon 2nd September UK time.

2.3 In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the competition, the operation of the technical system or any other matter arising out of the entry process, the decision of NLPU shall be final.

2.4 Under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of NLPU) will NLPU be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits whatsoever which result in connection with this competition.

2.5 For the avoidance of doubt, all Entrants agree to the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes in connection with the competition in any and all media by the Promoter its licensees, subsidiaries and/or assignees. In addition, by entering this competition Entrant’s shall be deemed to have given their permission for such reasonable publicity. Such publicity may include winning entries being featured on-line and used generally for publicity purposes, or for articles to be featured in press online or in print. The Entrant hereby acknowledges that there shall be no consideration payable in respect of such publicity

2.6 NLPU reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice in its absolute discretion. Any material changes will be advertised on the website www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk and such posting shall be adequate notice to all users.

2.7 The Winners will be notified on 02 September by phone or email to the contact details given to NLPU by the Entrant when entering the competition.

4. General

4.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.

4.2 Any personal information you supply us is protected by the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal information will be held on a database by the NLPU and processed for the purpose of administering this competition.

6. Governing law

6.1 These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All times and dates refer to the time and date in England.

6.2 If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
