About the activity?

Our inclusive community disco’s with upbeat pop music and disco lights, in collaboration with the Party People Project. Held at Disability Sport Yorkshire, this activity provides opportunities to meet new people, have fun and dance to the upbeat music. The session is seasonal.

Our next disco will be held on Thursday 5th March, which is World Book Day. We Encourage people to come dressed as their favourite book characters. Fancy dress is encouraged but not required.

A breakout room with quiet space is available on site.

Places are limited so Booking is essential.

Who is it for?

Anyone living with complex disabilities who is aged 18+.

Who is the activity leader?

James Hesslewood and Chemaine Cooke from The Party People Project bring the Party alive, with their vast amount of experience in running and delivering inclusive discos and club nights.

The staff at Disability Sport Yorkshire are always on hand to support the event.

How to take part

Please register your place – spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential.

On arriveal please sign in at reception.

You are welcome to bring you lunch, but please refrain from eating this until 12:30 after the disco has finished – this is for health and safety reasons.

The venue needs to be vacated by 1pm.

Disco runs from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. Please register at reception on arrival. You may bring your lunch to eat from 12:30 onwards, please avoid eating before this time due to health and safety reasons. The venue must be vacated by 1pm.

Booking in advance is required.
