Sustainable sport with Pentyrch RFC

Watch the video now to learn more how Pentyrch RFC are setting an example to their young rugby players by heroing sustainability at the club.

Pentyrch RFC, based in Wales, were given a grant by Sport Wales to install solar panels at their club. The solar panels have not only enabled them to save a vast amount of money on their electricity bills keeping them afloat during the pandemic, but they have also set a brilliant example to the young people who train at the club, encouraging them to be more sustainable. Recognising just how much energy running a sports club consumes, Pentyrch RFC are urging other clubs to follow their lead. They hope to be able to modify their water usage and improve biodiversity on their grounds over the coming seasons.
