20th November 2019

Did you know National Lottery players have funded over 565,000 projects since 1994? From the biggest stadiums to the smallest allotments, you’ve helped make so many lives better.

Most of us have projects in our local areas and sometimes they are so good at doing their job you don’t realize you’ve helped them make an impact on your community. So today, we’re here to help you with 3 ways to discover your local National Lottery funded projects.

1. The National Lottery Good Causes Website

Chances are if you are reading this, you're already in the right place! Click on the projects tab above and type in your postcode to find some local projects. The website is home to all things National Lottery Good Causes and that includes a regional map, giving you a selection of projects in your local region.

2. Plaques and Signs... and banners... and balloons...

National Lottery funded projects are proud of the support you give them by playing The National Lottery. That’s why they proudly display plaques, banners and logos featuring the beloved crossed fingers. Keep an eye out for the crossed fingers logo the next time you visit your local community centre, leisure centre, museum or school.

3. Social Media

Did you know the National Lottery and the funding bodies (the organisations that share the national lottery funding) have a range of social media profiles on all your favourite social media networks?

Why not give them a follow, starting with @LottoGoodCauses on Twitter, National Lottery Good Causes on Facebook and NationalLotteryGoodCauses on Instagram! Projects also use the hashtag #NationalLottery too.
