Our new Ambassador-in-Chief, Claudia Winkleman, is travelling across the UK to celebrate the incredible impact National Lottery players make on people’s lives every time they buy a ticket.

In a series of short films, the TV presenter gets to see first-hand the impact National Lottery players have on their local communities. In each film, Claudia is accompanied by a National Lottery player who experiences the life-changing impact of buying a ticket on a project in their local area.

It’s proof that the difference is made ‘Because of You’.

In a surprise appearance that moved attendees to tears, soul icon Beverley Knight took to the stage during Black History Month to announce a £244,452 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to a local project which aims to save irreplaceable stories from the Windrush generation before they're lost forever.
