Saturday 9th – Sunday 17th March 2024
National Lottery Open Week is an annual promotion that has been running since 2017 and 2024 is a special year for the promotion, as its marks the 30th anniversary of the National Lottery.
The idea is simple: during National Lottery Open Week (the next one takes place from Saturday 9th – Sunday 17th March 2024), National Lottery funded venues and projects across the UK make a special offer available to National Lottery players, which can be redeemed with a National Lottery ticket, scratchcard or proof of play online.
To say thank you for the £30 million raised for Good Causes every week by players, National Lottery funded venues offer free entry, discounts and special offers throughout National Lottery Open Week.
Previous organisations that have taken part in National Lottery Open Week include National Trust, National Trust for Scotland, Historic Royal Palaces, English Heritage, Cardiff Castle, Imperial War Museums, Murrayfield Stadium, RSPB, Eden Project, Black Country Living Museum and the Royal Shakespeare Company to name but a few.
With hundreds of venues to choose from across the UK, there are plenty of low-cost days out to look forward to during National Lottery Open Week, including the chance to:
- Delve into the past at historical houses, castles and museums
- Embrace nature in all its glory at wildlife hotspots
- Relive iconic moments at famous sports venues or,
- Enjoy a culture fix at art galleries across England/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland
In 2023, National Lottery players were able to access around 500 free and special offers across the UK, and more than 65,000 players were able to enjoy a great day out during National Lottery Open Week.
There’s something to excite everyone, whatever your interest.
If you are an organisation looking to participate, you can register now.
If you are a National Lottery player planning to visit a venue, you can search the offers when they go live.
